Kristin is passionate about the healing power of feeling safe and at ease. For the past nine years, she has been conducting research and development on ways to increase ease, well-being, and resilience in highly-stressed, vulnerable populations. Before that, Kristin conducted ground-breaking research on epileptic seizure prevention and led community-based initiatives to reduce health disparities. Kristin completed her MD at the Medical University of South Carolina, her medical internship and residency at the George Washington University Medical Center, one postdoctoral fellowship in Neuroscience at George Mason University, and another in Integrative Health Research at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
